O estatuto dos estrangeiros na organização administrativa e territorial portuguesa da Idade Média e a obra de Gama Barros

Abstract

O presente estudo tem como finalidade analisar o estatuto dos estrangeiros na organização administrativa e territorial portuguesa da Idade Média através da obra de Henrique da Gama Barros. Ao longo do estudo é tratada a doutrina dos estatutos medievais, que regulam os conflitos entre diversas jurisdições, e são enunciados alguns direitos aplicados aos estrangeiros no período medieval.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the status of foreigners in the Portuguese administrative and territorial organisation of the Middle Ages through the work of Henrique da Gama Barros. Throughout the study, the doctrine of medieval statutes, which regulate conflicts between different jurisdictions, is dealt with, and some of the rights applied to foreigners in the medieval period are set out.
