Marvila : leitura no tempo e no espaço : novos habitantes do séc. XXI

Abstract

O desenvolvimento e crescimento da zona de Marvila, localizada em Lisboa, serve de premissa para a investigação proposta para esta dissertação. Com uma leitura no tempo e no espaço vamos perceber como esta freguesia foi crescendo ao longo dos anos, em particular no aspeto urbano, especificamente a habitação e ao nível social. Com esta investigação pretende-se conhecer e aprofundar a evolução da casa e seu contexto social enquanto princípios urbanísticos. O estudo vai aventurar-se a partir da presença das fábricas e da sua influência no desenho urbano da freguesia. Estes vão ser os requisitos para a estrutura critica da atual situação da freguesia de Marvila e de como, a casa no contexto influência o dia a dia dos seus habitantes.

The development and growth of the Marvila area, located in Lisbon, serves as a premise for the research proposed for this dissertation. With a reading in time and space, we will understand how this parish has grow over the years, in particular in the urban space, specifically housing and at the social level. With this investigation, it is intended to know and deepen the evolution of the house and its social context as urbanistic principles. The study will venture from the presence of factories and their influence on the urban design of the parish. These will be the requirements for the critical structure of the current situation in the parish of Marvila and how the house in its context influences the daily lives of its in habitants.
