Reabilitação de casas de lavoura : adega vinícola da Casa de Ribela

Abstract

A presente dissertação visa compreender os princípios gerais de intervenção no Património Rural e os processos de recuperação e reabilitação de Casas de Lavoura. Neste caso, especificamente a partir da Casa de Ribela, desenvolve-se uma metodologia através dos conceitos de intervenção: a adição e a collage. Estas, diferentes, conceções surgem após o levantamento e diagnóstico das patologias que nos remeteram ás práticas de intervenção: reabilitação, conservação e restauro. Contudo, têm por base a transformação do espaço rural, através da reflexão da trilogia: tópos, týpos e tectónica. Apura-se então, o estudo das questões em relação ao seu estado original e as respetivas mutações ao longo do tempo com o objetivo de atuar de modo sustentado sobre o edifício. Para uma melhor compreensão os conceitos abordados e os seus significados, recorreu-se à investigação de dados qualitativos a partir da consulta bibliográfica diversa e da abordagem estratégica do estudo de caso, de forma a que permitam abordar o tema de forma coesa e estruturada. Partindo deste pressuposto, percebemos de que modo surge a ligação entre a trilogia e a conceptualidade da intervenção. É através desta investigação e do conhecimento adquirido ao longo do estudo, que se chega à abordagem fundamental desta dissertação: entender de que modo a adição e collage transformam através da reabilitação, os espaços rurais. Os principais resultados obtidos foram a compreensão da transformação do lugar, e no modo de reabilitar complexos agrícolas como a Casa de Ribela. Compreendidos estes saberes e o vínculo com os conceitos da intervenção, foi possível uma abordagem à prática de intervenção no património rural, contextualizada.

Abstract The following dissertation intends to comprehend the global principles of intervention regarding the Rural Patrimony and the process of restoration and rehabilitation of the Lavoura Manor (Casas de Lavoura). The Ribela House (Casa de Ribela) specifically, where there was developed a methodology of intervention through addition and collage. These different conceptions emerged after the analysis and diagnosis of the pathologies which implicated the following intervention practices - rehabilitation, conservation and restoration. Nonetheless, the primary intention of these practices is the transformation of the rural space through three converging factors - tópos, týpos and tectonic. We ascertained the studies of the matters connected with the original state and the correspondent mutations through the time with the goal of intervening efficiently in the building. In order to grasp the depth and the meaning of the approached concepts we drew on the research of qualitative data. Such data included a diverse bibliographic spectre and a strategic approach of the case study and thus offered the possibility of addressing the topic in a structured manner. While setting on this premise, we were able to learn the existing connection between the trilogy and the concept of intervention. Through this research and the decurring knowledge, we were also able to attain the fundamental approach of this dissertation - to understand the way in which the addition and collage are able to transform the rural spaces through rehabilitation techniques. The main results which we were able to attain sustained the comprehension of the transformation of the site and the way in which one can rehabilitate farming buildings such as the Ribela House. Once these results and their connection to the intervention concepts were grasped, it became possible to apply a contextualized approach to the rural patrimony intervention.
