O lugar como agente aglutinador de ações sociais

Abstract

O meio ambiente em que nos movimentamos, nomeadamente o construído, tem sido objeto de estudo, ao longo do tempo, por diversas disciplinas. Partindo do pressuposto, que existe uma interligação e uma indissociabilidade da pessoa com o ambiente e vice-versa, esta dissertação debate, a Arquitetura enquanto locus e a sua interseção com as Ciência Humanas, nomeadamente, a Psicologia e a Sociologia. Este estudo visa explorar a inter-relação do comportamento humano com o espaço construído, e auxiliar a prática da Arquitetura, através do conhecimento dessa simbiose do ser humano com o meio ambiente, e dos seus fatores envolvidos. Para tal, foi realizada uma pesquisa teórica e interdisciplinar, com enfoque na identificação de fatores induzidos pelos lugares que os arquitetos (re)criam, e aos quais o ser humano reage (in)conscientemente, através de diferentes emoções e comportamentos. Em suma, conclui-se com esta revisão teórica, a importância e o poder do lugar sobre a sociedade, quer ao nível dos comportamentos públicos, quer ao nível emocional e comportamental de cada indivíduo, acentuando, no Arquiteto a sua tarefa de projetar e reorganizar lugares, bem como a existência de uma responsabilidade social, mais do que individual. Salienta-se ainda, a ideia de que a Arquitetura não necessita de grandes orçamentos ou tecnologias avançadas, para servir o ser humano e o influenciar positivamente, sendo possível observar que a criatividade possibilita fazer muito com pouco.

Abstrat: The environment in which we move, namely the built environment, has been the object of study over time by various disciplines. Based on the assumption that there is an interconnection and an inseparability of the person with the environment, this dissertation discusses Architecture as a locus and its intersection with Human Science, namely, Psychology and Sociology. This study aims to explore the interrelation of human behavior with the built space, helping the practice of Architecture, through the knowledge of this symbiosis of the human being with the environment and its factors involved. A theoretical and interdisciplinary research was carried out, focusing on the identification of factors induced by the places that architects (re) create, and to which the human being reacts (in) consciously, through different emotions and behaviors. In conclusion, this review evidences the importance and power of the place on the society, both in terms of public behavior and in the emotional and behavioral level of each individual, accentuating in the Architect his task of designing and reorganizing places, as well as the existence of social responsibility rather than individual responsibility. As that architecture does not need large budgets or advanced technologies, to serve the human being and to influence positively, being possible to observe that creativity, makes it possible.
