A recomposição arquitectónica através da reconfiguração dos materiais tradicionais

Abstract

Resumo: A permanente evolução tecnológica e científica, responsável pela transformação e desenvolvimento da sociedade Hipermoderna, tem muitas das vezes de forma negligente, incidido no modo como são aplicados os sistemas construtivos e os materiais nos espaços arquitectónicos construídos e a construir. Perante estes factores, tornasse imperativo o resgate das técnicas e materiais tradicionais de maneira a inclui-los e integrá-los coerentemente no contexto e nas exigências crescentes da sociedade global, cumprindo também o objectivo de perpetuação da cultura e da identidade dos povos, rumo a um futuro sempre incerto. Esta investigação pretende a elaboração de modelos compositivos através de uma estratégia reconfigurante dos materiais tradicionais, por forma a articular as técnicas e conhecimentos contemporâneos com os sistemas construtivos e materialidades da arquitectura vernacular, recuperadas no processo de recomposição arquitectónica, nas suas funções essenciais. A recomposição arquitectónica, através da reconfiguração dos materiais tradicionais faz com que estes se tornem capazes de suportar e comportar as novas exigências, impostas pelo modo de vida da sociedade atual, sem deixar de parte as técnicas e sabedoria empírica de sucessivas gerações de construtores, mas sobretudo, garantir a continuidade da identidade e das memórias colectivas do contexto onde se inserem.

Abstract: The permanent technological and scientific evolution responsible for transformation and devooping of hypermodern society, have often, in negligency way, focus in the way how we apply constructive systems and materials in the built spaces and to build. Faced with these factors, it would be imperative to rescue traditional techniques and materials so as to include them and integrate them coherently in the context of the growing demands of global society, including the goal of perpetuating the culture and identity of peoples, towards the ever uncertain future. The research involves the elaboration of compositional models through the reconfiguring strategy of traditional materials in order to articulate the contemporary techniques and knowledge with the constructive systems and materials of the popular architecture, recovered with the architectonic recomposition, its essential functions. This architectural recomposition through the reconfiguration of traditional materials will make them enable to support and accommodate the demands, such as the new experiences of society, without leaving aside the techniques and wisdom of a population, and above all, without discharacterizing the context where they are inserted.
