Abstract

A paisagem construída e o homem são dois elementos inseparáveis, só existe o primeiro quando o segundo intervém e modifica a paisagem natural. O homem observa, analisa e faz de um palco onde a paisagem construída é o suporte de todas as acções e vivências dos seus principais protagonistas. Ao longo do tempo a paisagem evolui passando por muitos significados perante as civilizações que exploravam a paisagem marcando a História de tal forma, que ainda hoje, chegam até nós incríveis, paisagens construídas com edifícios que marcam as culturas. Consequentemente, só existe paisagem quando o acto de observar e analisar está presente. Esta acção do homem é o que caracteriza a paisagem onde não só os actos físicos como a topografia, edifícios, luz, materiais, cores etc. importam, mas também a interpretação pessoal como sensações e emoções para uma melhor compreensão da cidade, vivências, culturas, histórias para que o acto final da contemplação se resuma a uma verdade constante. É importante constatarmos que é nas diferenças de culturas e tempos que as paisagens construídas ganham forma e força para ultrapassar fronteiras no conhecimento ao longo da história. A paisagem é algo que nos acompanha sempre e que faz parte de um passado, presente e futuro ao qual o Homem irá transformar segundo os seus objectivos.
