A materialidade na reabilitação do "habitar" : Casa Afonso Barbosa em V. N. Famalicão

Abstract

Resumo: O pensamento base do tema desta Dissertação de Mestrado é a Fenomenologia. Esta diz respeito ao estudo sobre os fenómenos, e estes têm lugar num determinado espaço. É essa relação entre o Espaço e o Homem que a interliga à Arquitetura. A investigação sobre esta temática, adquiriu-se os conhecimentos necessários sobre os conceitos de “lugar”, “identidade”, “materialidade” e “habitar”. Estes que são a base do tema aqui apresentado, que se considerados necessários para compreender a melhor forma de intervir numa reabilitação, estabelecendo uma vinculação entre o Homem e o Lugar, a fim de criar um ambiente para este “habitar”. Partindo do tema de investigação “Reabilitação para “habitar” através da materialidade”, aquilo que se pretende é, inicialmente compreender os ideais, os princípios e valores de alguns filósofos, psicólogos e arquitetos sobre os conceitos que relacionam a fenomenologia à arquitetura e estas à reabilitação, compreender de que forma a materialidade pode ser a ferramenta-chave na vinculação do Homem ao lugar, em contexto de reabilitação, a fim de este o “habitar”, compreender os princípios e valores de arquitetos na sua perspetiva de reabilitação, compreender os princípios e valores dos arquitetos em obras de referência, e após adquirir esta paleta de conhecimentos, estabelecer uma estratégia de intervenção que se vai levar a cabo num Ensaio Projetual, a fim de empregar os conhecimentos adquiridos. Para que tudo isto seja possível de se concretizar, recorre-se aos autores de referência, através de instrumentos bibliográficos como monografias ou fontes eletrónicas, estabelece-se a ideia com base no tema, os princípios com base nos autores de referência, os objetivos mediante aquilo que se pretende fazer, considerando a integração dos princípios dos autores e as necessidades do lugar, e um conjunto de ações que devem ser seguidas, a fim demonstrar através do Ensaio Projetual, todo o conhecimento adquirido. Aquilo que se pretende com estas investigações e demonstrações de conhecimentos adquiridos, é apresentar uma, entre várias possíveis, solução daquilo que pode responder à problemática inerente ao tema, que diz respeito a compreender como pode o arquiteto, quando reabilita uma obra arquitetónica, criar uma compatibilidade com a identidade material do pré-existente e a identidade material da intervenção que propõe, de forma que, com esta intervenção, crie um ambiente que priorize a vinculação do Homem ao lugar. Um lugar para “habitar”.

Abstract: The basic thought of the theme of this Master's Dissertation is Phenomenology. This concerns the study of phenomena, and these take place in a certain space. It is this relationship between Space and Man that links it to Architecture. Research on this subject acquired the necessary knowledge about the concepts of "place", "identity", "materiality" and "inhabit". These are the basis of the theme presented here, which are considered necessary to understand the best way to intervene in rehabilitation, establishing a link between Man and Place, in order to create an environment for this "inhabit". Starting from the research theme "Rehabilitation to "inhabit through materiality", what is intended is initially to understand the ideals, principles and values of some philosophers, psychologists and architects on the concepts that relate phenomenology to architecture and these to the rehabilitation, in order to be able to "inhabit", to understand the principles and values of architects in their perspective of rehabilitation, to understand the principles and values of architects in reference works, and after acquiring this palette of knowledge, establish an intervention strategy that will be carried out in a Project Essay, in order to employ the acquired knowledge. In order to make this possible, the authors of reference are used, through bibliographic instruments such as monographs or electronic sources, the idea is based on the theme, the principles based on the authors of reference, the objectives through considering the integration of the principles of the authors and the needs of the place, and a set of actions that must be followed, in order to demonstrate through the Project, all the knowledge_acquired. What is wanted with these investigations and demonstrations of acquired knowledge is to present one of several possible solutions to what can answer the problem inherent in the subject, which is to understand how the architect, when rehabilitating an architectural work, create a compatibility with the material identity of the pre-existing and the material identity of the intervention that proposes, so that, with this intervention, create an environment that prioritizes the linkage of man to the place. A place to "live".
