Abstract: The Subjective Well-Being has been the target of a growing interest for research in Psychology. The study of Subjective Well-Being as a broad, multidimensional construct, refers to what people feel and think about their own lives, involving emotional responses and domains of satisfaction. There are few investigations that seek to understand how parents perceive the well-being of their children. In this way, the present investigation aimed to evaluate the Subjective Well-Being self-reported by the children, as well as the father's and mother's perception of the Subjective Well-Being of their children. A total of 1482 children (739 girls and 741 boys) aged 6 to 12 years and their fathers and mothers participated in the study. The different components of Subjective Well-Being were evaluated, taking into account self-reported and straightforward scales: Kidscreen 10, Emotional Tone Scale, Brief Scale of Satisfaction with Social Support and Brief Scale of Satisfaction with Life. The collection of data ensured the safeguarding of the psychological integrity of students and their parents. The main results allow us to affirm that there are significant differences between the Subjective Well-Being self-reported by the children and the reports of the parents and the mothers regarding the Subjective Well-Being of the children. However, observed that there was a positive association between the children's self-reports and the parents and mothers perception of the subjective wellbeing of their children. There was also an agreement between the children's self-reports and the parents 'and mothers' perception of Subjective Well-Being. This study promoted a better understanding of the subjective well-being of Portuguese children, as well as showing how both fathers and mothers perceive the well-being of their children
