A indústria, a cidade e o conhecimento : mutação da cidade industrial para a cidade do conhecimento

Abstract

A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo mostrar a interligação entre a indústria, a cidade e o conhecimento. A investigação apresenta-se estruturada em quatro partes, a saber: numa primeira parte, falamos sobre o apogeu e o declínio da cidade industrial, focando assim pelos princípios da industrialização, dos seus progressos e expansão em Portugal, até ao fim do império colonial; Numa segunda parte, falamos de novas experiencias da cidade industrial com a entrada de Portugal na União Europeia e naturalmente a nova revolução tecnológica que arrasta consigo o novo paradigma de cidade, ou seja, a cidade do conhecimento; Posteriormente, falamos sobre a minha proposta de trabalho que é toda ela, sobre a região de Aveiro e que poderá ilustrar o percurso da investigação. Por fim concluiu-se que o edifício proposto torna possível interligar o “saber fazer” da indústria com o “saber saber” da universidade, ao mesmo tempo que se cirza com a cidade, permitindo-lhe crescimento e prosperidade.

The present research aims to show the interconnection between industry, the city and knowledge. The research is structured in four parts, namely: in the first part, we talk about the apogee and the decline of the industrial city, focusing thus on the principles of industrialization, its progress and expansion in Portugal, until the end of the colonial empire; in the second part, we speak of new experiences of the industrial city with the entry of Portugal into the European Union and of course the new technological revolution that drags along with the new paradigm of city, that is, the city of knowledge; later, we talked about my proposal of work that is all about the region of Aveiro and that can illustrate the course of the investigation. finally, It was concluded that the proposed building makes it possible to interconnect the industry's "know-how" with the "know-how" of the university, while at the same time working with the city, allowing it to grow and prosper..
