Abstract

Este trabalho surge da intenção de valorizar os sentidos na experiência do espaço arquitetónico. A melhor forma de apreender o espaço é experimentando|vivenciando esse mesmo espaço. O processo de arquitetura é essencial para destacar a importância da consciência sensorial arquitctónica de quem projeta para quem experiência a arquitetura. Os sentidos slo os instrumcntos que possibilitam ao nosso corpo situar-se no ambiente. A irquítelura é um maestro que rege os nossos sentidos estimulando-os. Arquitetura é projeto, conceito, estética, função e vivência. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo estudar a importância dos sentidos na vivência arquitetónica pretende alertar o arquiteto para uma tomada de consciência sensorial no ato de projetar. Ambicionando que a memória e os sentidos do arquiteto façam parte dos seus objetos de trabalho, contribuindo para uma arquitetura plena dc sentido e de sentidos. Tenta-se perceber até que ponto a arquitetura condiciona os sentidos, corno é que estes podem ser aproveitados pela arquitetura e como interpretamos o espaço na ausência do sentido mais usado pelo homem, a visão. Experienciando obras de arquitetura, descrevendo as sensações auditivas, olfativas, tácteis e visuais de vários edifieios: uma estação de metro, um mercado, um museu, uma sala de espetáculo e uma igreja. O caso prático consiste na projeção de um edifício termal que desperte e estimule os sentidos do ser humano.

This paper arises from the intention of enhancing the senses in the experience of architectural space. The best way to grasp the space is experiencing this sarne space. The process architecture is essential to highlight the importance of sensory awareness of architectural designs for those who experience architecture. The senses are the instrurnents that allow our body to be in the environrnent. The architecture is a conductor who governs our senses stimulating them. Architecture is design, concept, aesthetics, function and experience. The present work aims to study the importance of the senses in architectural experience is intended to alert the architect for a sensory awareness in the act of designing. Aspiring to the memory and senses is an importante part/object in the architect job, contributing to an architecture full of meaning and sense. Let’s try to understand to what extent the architecture affects the senses, how these can be exploited by architecture and how we interpret the space in the absence of the sense used by man, the vision. Experiencing works of architecture, describing the sensations auditory, olfactory, tactile and visual several buildings: a subway station, a market, a museum, a concert hall, and a church. The case study is the projection of a building thermal awaken and stimulate the senses of the human being.
