[Re]habitar inclusivamente os centros históricos : "Despertar Aveiro" - um programa de HIS

Abstract

No presente trabalho abordamos um conjunto de assuntos interligados que no conjunto constituem o próprio tema. Abordando a problemática da necessidade de preservar e consolidar os Centros Históricos, estudamos a desertificação destes centros, desde as suas causas às suas consequências; as marginalidades sócio-territoriais, onde fazemos referência à Habitação Social, à Exclusão Social e à Segregação sócio-territorial; e ainda estudamos a mutabilidade das estruturas familiares ocorridas a partir dos inícios do século XX e as quais têm-se refletido nos novos modos de habitar. Para tal, recorremos às teorias de diversos autores como M. Calado, F. Ascher, Sassen, P. Guerra, I. Guerra, T. Salgueiro, L. Capucha, A. Cabrita, A. Coelho, M. Mària & P. Fuertes, E. Levinas, C. Norberg-Schulz, G. McCreanor, R. Koolhas, H. Hertzberger, M. Heidegger e J. Duarte, entre outros. Esta dissertação serve, pois, para reforçar a pertinência de atuar nos Centros Históricos com o objetivo da sua requalificação e revitalização de forma inclusivo. Para o demonstrar, realizamos um ensaio projetual no território de Aveiro, mais precisamente no seu Centro Histórico, que engloba o Bairro da Beira-Mar e o Bairro do Alboi.

In this papar we address a set ot interconnected subjects which togelher constitute the theme itself. Addressing the issue of the need to preserve and consolidate the historic centers, we studied the desertificalion of these centers, since its causes to its consequences; social and territorial marginality, which we refer to Social Housing, Social Exclusion and the social and spatial segregation; and also studied the mutabilily of family structures occurred from the early twentieth century and which have been reflected in the new ways of inhabiting. To this end, we use lhe theories of severaI authors as M. Calado, E. Ascher, Sassen, E. Guerra, I. Guerra, I. Salgueiro, L. Capucha, A. Cabrula, A. Coelho, M. Mário & E. Fuerles, E. Levinas, C. NorhergSchulz, G. McCreanar, R. Koolhaas, H. Hertzberger, M. Heidegger and J. Duarte, among others. This dissertation serves therefare to reinforce the relevance of acting in historic centers with the aim of its retraining and revitalizing inclusive way. Te demonstrate this, we conducted a projetual test in the territory of Aveiro, more precisely its historic center, which includes the neighborhood of Beira-Mar and neighhorheed of Alboi.
