Quais os factores críticos de sucesso do AVAC?

Abstract

A Construção tem sido um sector económico, motor da economia e que influencia outros sectores que daquele dependem. Um deles é o Aquecimento, Ventilação e Ar Condicionado (AVAC). A identificação dos Factores Críticos de Sucesso (FCS) do AVAC é uma ferramenta importante para um melhor entendimento do funcionamento daquele subsector da construção. Neste contexto o objectivo desta dissertação é encontrar respostas à questão: Quais os FCS do AVAC? Para responder a esta questão foi feita uma revisão de literatura onde foram encontrados FCS, bem como metodologias usadas por outros autores para obtenção de FCS. Para a realização do trabalho de campo optou-se por entrevistas a executivos com conhecimento da relação AVAC - Construção, entrevistas essas que proporcionaram a elaboração duma lista de FCS e a classificação dos FCS obtidos na revisão de literatura. Foi ainda feito um estudo de caso junto dum pequeno grupo económico no sentido de ser verificado num caso concreto, os resultados obtidos anteriormente. Após compilados e tratados os dados, pode-se concluir que os FCS das empresas AVAC são os seguintes: Qualidade do serviço com especial atenção no prazo; Competência técnica das pessoas, e sua formação; e Organização da empresa. Foi possível também, com base nas declarações prestadas pelos entrevistados, antever o futuro das empresas do AVAC que se deverão adaptar às novas exigências e oportunidades, nomeadamente no que diz respeito à reabilitação de edifícios, e à integração das energias renováveis no seu portfólio.

The Construction has been one sector of the economy, and engine of other sectors which are influenced by that one. One of them is Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC). The identification of the Critical Success Factors (CSF) within HVAC is an important tool for a better understanding of the functioning of that sub-sector of the construction. In this context the objective of this dissertation is to find answers to the following question: Which is the HVAC’s CSF? To help answering this question a literature review was applied where CSF were found, as well as methodologies used by other authors to obtain CSF. For the fieldwork, interviews were made to executives with knowledge of the relationship HVAC – Construction. Such interviews provided a list of CSF and the classification of the CSF obtained in the literature review. It was also made a case study with a small economic group in order to be verified in a particular case, the results obtained previously. Once collected and processed the data, can be concluded that the FCS of HVAC companies are: • Quality of service with special attention to the term; • Technical competence of the people, and his training; and • Organization of the company. It was also possible, based on statements made by the respondents foresee the future of the HVAC companies which must adapt themselves to new demands and opportunities, especially with regard to building rehabilitation, and integration of renewables in their portfolio.
