Abstract

A presente investigação histórica visa conhecer as origens jurídicas, e as motivações políticas, da figura das organizações populares de base, prevista no texto original da Constituição portuguesa de 1976, e, outrossim, proceder a uma sua caraterização normativa, recortando o conceito, a natureza, o alcance, e entes afins, bem como o respetivo regime.

This historical investigation aims to understand the origins, and political motivations, behind the concept of grassroots popular organizations, as foreseen in the original text of the 1976 Portuguese Constitution, and to provide a normative characterization, outlining their concept, nature, scope, and related entities, as well as their legal framework.
