Recorre-se à literatura sobre as concepções e os fundamentos da proteção social não contributiva e às pesquisas que tratam da implementação de políticas públicas, destacando-se aí o conceito de burocracia de nível de sistemas. Tais reflexões se dirigem mais diretamente ao campo do Serviço Social, na medida em que se voltam a questões estritamente ligadas à produção de conhecimento, formação e exercício profissional do assistente social. Assim, em perspectiva crítica, considera-se os impactos, repercussões ou consequências do que se chamou de robotização da proteção social no plano da atuação profissional do Serviço Social.; This article, in an interdisciplinary manner, articulates knowledge from the field of Communication, Sociology and Social Work in order to understand this scenario of “datafication of society”, platforming of Brazilian State institutions, surveillance and control processes (surveillance capitalism), and the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the field of social protection. To reference is made to the literature on the conceptions and foundations of non-contributory social protection and to research that deals with the implementation of public policies, highlighting the concept of systems-level bureaucracy. Such reflections are directed more directly to the field of Social Work, insofar as they turn to issues strictly linked to the production of knowledge, training and professional practice of the social worker. Thus, in a critical perspective, the impacts, repercussions or consequences of what has been called the robotization of social protection in terms of the professional performance of Social Work are considered. O projeto de investigação-ação que está a decorrer nesta localidade rural, no âmbito de um estudo de doutoramento em serviço social, analisa de que forma os sujeitos participantes podem aumentar a sua consciência crítica em relação à sua existência no e para o mundo através da recolha e partilha de narrativas e histórias de vida. O uso das redes sociais existentes na Internet (Facebook; Instagram e Youtube) têm sido os principais veículos para a partilha do trabalho que tem sido desenvolvido, mostrando uma capacidade agregadora, levando a história relativa ao património imaterial que se está a construir a todas as partes do mundo. No ato de publicar as suas histórias, para além das competências associadas ao ato de narrar e memorar as suas vidas, os sujeitos participantes, ao reverem-se traduzidos em formato digital, refletem sobre o seu passado, o seu presente, projetando o seu futuro num verdadeiro processo ascendente de consciência crítica. Numa dinâmica dialética que potencia a investigação e a intervenção social, analisaremos também quais as potencialidades que o uso das redes sociais digitais traz ao serviço social na resolução de problemas, numa ótica de promoção da mudança e da transformação social.; Research projects aimed at social intervention have shown great competence in transforming and changing the daily lives of people who are part of the community of Folgosa do Douro. The action-research project that is taking place in this rural location, in the ambit of a doctoral study in social work, analyzes how the participating subjects can increase their critical awareness in relation to their existence in and for the world by collecting and sharing narratives and life stories. The use of existing social networks on the Internet (Facebook; Instagram and Youtube) have been the main vehicles for sharing the work that has been developed, showing an aggregating capacity, taking the story about the intangible heritage that is being built to all parts of the world. In the act of publishing their story, in addition to the skills associated with the act of narrating and memorizing their lives, the participating subjects, when seeing themselves translated into digital format, reflect on their past, their present, projecting their future in a true ascending process of critical awareness. In a dialectical dynamic that enhances research and social intervention, we will also analyze which potential the use of digital social networks brings to social work in problem solving, from a perspective of promoting change and social transformation. As mudanças das últimas décadas modificaram a praxis do Serviço Social e impactaram positiva e negativamente o trabalho. O objetivo é provocar reflexões no processo de incorporação e no processo de trabalho advindo pelas Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicações (TICs). Esta constatação se dá pela observação da prática do assistente social nos últimos trinta anos. O uso das TICs acontece de forma heterogênea e desigual nas politicas sociais, como estratégia para continuidade dos atendimentos nos serviços públicos. O assistente social na sua prática tem utilizado as redes sociais como ferramenta nas buscas e localização de família de pacientes hospitalizados, estimulando a reaproximação familiar. A inserção e adaptação à este novo ambiente é um dos caminhos posto ao Serviço Social como um desafio aos profissionais graduados nas décadas de 80 e 90 e que não fazem parte da geração XYZ mas se faz necessária por se tratar de um processo que beneficia a sociedade. A atuação o assistente social se estabelece por ações de orientação social, encaminhamentos e cadastros online para fins de acesso a serviços e benefícios dentre outros. No Brasil, as pessoas socialmente vulneráveis não tem acesso aos Programas Sociais por limitações com as tecnologias. Além disso, o consumo excessivo das TICs pode causar isolamento social e contribuir para substituição de aspectos culturais importantes. O equilíbrio da sociedade digital se dará quando ocorrerem programas de inclusão digital que garantam acesso de todos.; Technological evolution confronts the need for rapid adaptation to changes in the context of personal and professional life, which must follow criteria of reasonableness that can only be achieved with experience. The changes of the last decades modified the Social Work praxis and positively and negatively impacted the work. The objective is to provoke reflections in the incorporation process and in the work process resulting from Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs). The use of ICTs happens heterogeneously and unevenly in social policies, as a strategy for continuity of care in public services. The social worker in his practice has used social networks as a tool in searching and locating the family of hospitalized patients, stimulating family rapprochement. Inserting and adapting to this new environment is one of the paths posed to Social Work as a challenge for professionals who graduated in the 80s and 90s and who are not part of the XYZ generation, but it is necessary because it is a process that benefits society. The role of the social worker is established by actions of social guidance, referrals and online registration for the purpose of accessing services and benefits, among others. In Brazil, socially vulnerable people do not have access to Social Programs due to limitations with technologies. In addition, the excessive consumption of ICTs can cause social isolation and contribute to the replacement of important cultural aspects.
